Senoia

Senoia, named after an Indian princess, is home to the global tv hit the walking dead. Although the show has stopped filming it’s still a great place to see celebrities out and about mixing it up with the locals. There have been quite a few other hit TV and movies filmed in Senoia as it has its own smaller film studio. This small town was once regarded as one of Georgia’s best kept secrets. Its unique architecture and its down-home vibe radiate with southern charm.

Nick and Normans, bistro Hillary, Curious Pig and Maguires are just a few of the unique dining experiences that downtown Senoia has to offer. Golf carts are also allowed to roam the streets of Senoia being that it borders Peachtree city and although it has very few of its own paths there are some areas that access the larger path system of Peachtree city.

Just outside of downtown Senoia there is lots of new development, shopping centers, grocery stores and the like. Most of the new neighborhoods are building luxury homes on large acre tracts.

There are still quite a few functioning farms in Senoia which are a wonderful place to go and pick fresh strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. In the fall these farms usually house corm mazes, hayrides, pumpkin patches and other fall festivals.
